# Flap & four.meme Trading API

> Trade and launch tokens on Flap and four.meme, on BNB Chain

shrine.trade's free, keyless HTTP + WebSocket API for Flap and four.meme - the two launchpads on BNB Chain (chain id 56). Buy and sell any Flap or four.meme token, on its bonding curve or in the PancakeSwap pool it graduates to; tax tokens included. Launch new tokens on Flap, standard or with a buy/sell tax. Every endpoint returns unsigned EIP-1559 transactions the caller signs and sends themselves; the API never holds keys or funds.

Key facts:

- Base URL: https://api.shrine.trade/bnb (WebSocket: wss://api.shrine.trade/bnb/api/launches/ws)
- Auth: none. Limits: 5 requests/second per IP per endpoint, 2 launch-feed connections per IP (HTTP 429 beyond).
- Amounts on a buy are BNB; tokens priced in USD1 or another asset are converted inside the transaction (Flap by its Portal, four.meme by its Helper). Flap sells pay out BNB by default; four.meme sells pay out the asset the token is priced in.
- Fee: 0.5% per trade to shrine.trade, taken in the asset the trade settles in. Launching and reads are free. Flap's curve fee (1.25%), four.meme's (1%, higher in an anti-sniper token's first blocks) and the token's tax apply on top.
- Responses carry `txs`: sign each with the wallet in `from` and POST the signed hex to /api/send as `{ "signedTx" }`, in order - no RPC needed. Errors are `{ "error": code, "message": text }`.
